Overview of Synthetic Inners
These are what you would call your Microfill (carded microfibre) or Comfort Puff (hollowfibre) duvets.
The filling is made from a type of polyester that is then processed in order to make it soft and fluffy.
The Comfort Puff filling is like little petits pois sized puffs, whereas the Microfill is processed further and resembles cobwebs.
Microfill is the closest you can get to that soft down feeling in a synthetic duvet.
They are very supportive and ideal for those that suffer from a genuine allergy to feathers and down.
However, they can be hot and after time they may lose their shape.
